For me the summer scrapbooking season is a busy one. I tend to spends more time outside, take more photos and have less time to scrapbook.

Try to capture the warmth of the sun in your pictures. Use lots of natural light and take photos outside whenever you can. When you work on layouts use warm bold colors to capture the colors in your pictures and use embellishments you created.
Want free embellishments for your scrapbooking? If you go on a trip save the ticket stub and brochure, they can often be used as embellishments. I always save everything until after I finished my layout, that way I have it to use if I want to. Slip them into a resealable envelope for safe keeping.
