I always look forward to spring scrapbooking after a long, cold and generally snowy winter in the Northeast. We use the opportunity to get outside as it grows warmer which leads to more pictures to scrapbook.

Try to capture the renewal of the earth in your pictures. Use lots of natural light and take photos outside whenever you can. When you work on layouts use pastel or softer colors to capture the colors in your pictures and use embellishments you created.
Want free embellishments for your scrapbooking? Press or dry flowers or leaves, they can often be used as embellishments. Slip them into a resealable envelope for safe keeping.
