Scrapbooking Idea – Filmstrip Fun

Try using this scrapbooking idea utilizing a simple filmstrip to create a fun new look to a photo series on a layout. Using a filmstrip highlights a series of photos on a layout in a new way.

If you are tired of just matting photos then give this twist on matting photos a try. It gives the layout a new bold look.

For my layout I used a quickutz die of a filmstrip. I could have kept the filmstrip pieces in tact for a more traditional look but I liked them seperated better in this layout.

While you can use any series of photos in a filmstrip, a series of the same photos will give it that old photo booth style.

This is a simple idea to try. If you don't have quick cutz you can easily make a filmstrip from black paper and a small square punch. They are also available pre-made with a transparent center in most large chain stores!
