Try using this scrapbooking idea using fibers and ribbon as a border on your layout for a unique look.
A fiber border is simple to use and utilizes items you probably already have on hand as a scrapbooker fiber, yarn and ribbon.
For the above layout I used several strands of fiber and ribbon in coordinating colors. I used an eyelet setter tool to punch holes in strategic places to string my ribbon border through the paper. You need to be sure to punch two holes close together for that quick in and out which anchors the border to the layout while showing off more ribbon than paper.
An alternative to a full border using the same idea is shown in the above layout. For this look I punched small holes with a paper piercer and knotted the same yarn on my layout as the Thing 2 wig in the photo.
This is a simple idea to try. Using items you already have saves time and money!Find another great scrapbooking idea here.
