Scrapbooking Idea – Paper Buttons

Using this scrapbooking idea you can create matching button embellishments for your scrapbooking layout fast and easy. These can be made with or without the clear plastic buttons shown in the picture. See directions below.

Note - If you are not using the clear plastic button skip to the alternate section below.

Using a clear plastic button choose your paper. Using a glue dot attach the paper underneath the button. Cut the paper carefully around the button using a craft knife.

You can jazz up the buttons but pulling fiber through the holes or by adding glitter.

ALTERNATE: Punch out your button in the size you want. Do feel limited to circles. Squares or hearts can be fun too. Use an awl to create the wholes where, if they were real buttons they would be sewed on and use eyelets in the wholes to make it look like a button.
