Scrapbooking Idea – Hot Beach Layouts

Looking for a hot new scrapbooking idea to brighten up the same old beach pages? Embellish your pages with some great items you find around your house.

Create layers on your page with a creative memories wave runner. You can also make layers that look like waves by free cutting or tearing your paper. I used fibers to give the look of seaweed.

In the above layout Cathy Palmer used sandpaper to look like beach sand. What a great idea. You probably have a few sheets of sandpaper lying around your house. The netting on the beach is actually gauze. If you don't have any at home your local pharmacy will have it.

In the above layout Cathy used cheesecloth available at your local grocery store. She did tell me she thought the gauze was easier to work with but it gives you different options depending on what you already have handy.
