This scrapbooking idea will show you how to document both the child and their artwork. This could work alternately for someone taking art lessons or in art school to show progress. It is a great way to document your child’s current artwork is by using their artwork as your patterned paper. In this example I gave my daughter a piece of white non-textured cardstock and asked her to draw a border.

I added a fun photo, some scraps of colored paper and got a really cute layout my daughter is crazy over!

In this alternate example I cut out some images that my daughter frequently draws and added them as an embellishment.

I save all the white paper that comes inside new scrapbooking albums. It is acid free and I use it to have my daughter draw on for these purposes.
