As we approach the Halloween scrapbooking season, my personal favorite holiday, I usually make a list of must get photos. Trick or treating photo ops can be difficult with the lack of light so I often take my photos early on to get the best costume shots and then shoot for 1 or 2 good pictures while the kids are out having fun.

Halloween is a fun holiday try to reflect this in your photos. This is the one day of the year you can be anything you want to be. Did you or your kids have several options for your costumes? Document how or why you chose that particular costume.
Want free embellishments for your trick or treat scrapbooking? Cards are always a great source for free embellishments. Try using an empty candy wrapper for an interesting effect. Have your child draw a self portrait of themselves in costume and use it as an embellishment in your layout.
