As we approach the Christmas scrapbooking season I usually make a list of must get photos. I have several pictures I do every year and keep them all together in one book like an old fashioned baby book. For example I have my daughter’s picture with Santa each year, doing 2 photos on each page (covering 2 years).

Scrapbooking for a baby can be lots of fun. Many layouts can be put together during the pregnancy for later use. For example first foods, first steps, first tooth are milestones all infants will share.
Recommended Photos:Try to capture the magic of the holidays in your pictures. We always donate toys and food to people less fortunate to not only show our gratitude for what we do have but also so we can help someone in need. If you do something similar make it a family tradition and document that in your scrapbook as well.
Want free embellishments for your holiday scrapbooking? Save your holiday cards. I have gotten some really cool embellishments off my cards over the years. Another great source is from the ribbon and extras used to embellish gifts. Many holiday cards have nice glittery trees, ornaments or reindeer that can be cut out and used to embellish your pages. Not to mention it is a great way to recycle them.
